The minimalist style is characterized by smooth surfaces - cast resin floors, transparent glass panes, and tiles with a matt or glossy surface. Ornaments and patterns are rare. It is important to use basic expressive colours - the main role is played by black and white and the abovementioned greys. The walls must be bright - it's about creating a spacious effect. It is also worth to ensure proper protection of wooden surfaces, often present in a minimalist style in neutral colours.
