In rooms designed to rest or sleep, it is better to put on subdued colours that will give them cosiness. Even if we are declared admirers of bright colours, our mind is easier to mute with colours close to nature. Warm colours work perfectly there: brown, beige or pastel pinks and oranges. If you like bold colours and you are looking for bold solutions, choose deep reds. Remember, however, that the dark variants will optically minimize the room. In such a case, it is best to put just a strong accent on one of the walls.

Cool colours are often reborn in the bedrooms, but this does not have to be the rule. If you are tempted by calm blues or muted greens, check if there is a lot of sunlight in your bedroom. Ideally, when the windows are oriented to the east: then paint the walls with bright and shiny paints, you will make them beautifully reflect the light, even if you choose a cool colour. You'll also get this effect at night, choosing the right lighting - it should be spotlight and should give soft, warm light, for example with a golden shade.
