Living room is the most representative part of the flat, so it's time for you to go crazy with colours. And in fact, you can afford more in the living room, because it is usually the largest room in the house. However, it is worth paying attention to universal tips that work well in any interior. First of all, check the sun exposure of the room - warm colours do not need much light, but the cooler tones look better in the living rooms with windows from the south.

When the living room is on the set of an unusual geometrical figure or connects with the kitchen, we can stress it. Apply then different wall colours on individual walls or parts of the room. If, on the other hand, you prefer to optically bring the room closer to the form of a square, you can paint further walls with darker paint, and those closer to the central point brighter.

The most important, however, what is seemingly the most obvious - when making choice, it is not worth suggesting only current colour trends. Remember that the colour of the walls will be the background of your everyday life for several years. If you do not feel comfortable surrounded by colours that are in fashion, choose maybe less spectacular, but safer colours.
